A Study On Applied Anatomy In The Treatment Of Chinese Trigeminal Neuralgia

Objective :To provide anatomic data for clinic theraphy. Methods :The relation between the shape , size , depth about side structure and puncture of the foramen ovale cranium was observed and measured inl60 sides of 80 adult skulls. Results :When the foramen ovale craniumappears on the round shape ,pear shape , and kidney shape , the hole diameter of foramen ovale is bigger comparely and the puncture is easier.When the foramen ovale cranium appears on long shape the hole diameter is less comparely and the puncture is more difficult. When the tube of the foramen ovale cranium is short , the puncture forwordin incline come easier. Depth of puncture can be caculated in according to measure skulls surface.Conclusion :The anatomic character of foramen ovale in cranium in Chinese people have the important value on the puncture' s accuracy in for treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. Depth of puncture can be deduced according to interval of apogee of malar archs .
