Hypertension disorder complicating pregnancy (HDCP), aspecific threatening disease for pregnant women and babies, has beenthe main death reason for pregnant parturient and female baby. Theincidence in our country is 9.4% and 7%-12 in others. [The researchfor HDCP is a main objective in obstetrics. The thesis studies thecases in different hospitals both in Tibet and Chang Chun. The resultis as follows: in these 1290 cases of HDCP, the ratio of high bloodpressure in Tibet is apparently higher than that in Chang Chun(P<0.001). In the 1160 cases in Tibet the ratio in Han people is muchhigher than that in Zang people. Comparing the ratio among Hanpregnant women in Lin Zhi in Tibet with that in Chang Chun, wefound that Han pregnant women in high altitude is much more easierto get the disease (P=0.008). In addition, the high incidence is relevantto the cold weather or the changes in temperature, i.e., it is higher inspring and winter than in summer and autumn (P=0.001). Thepossibility rises in high altitude if the times of pregnancy rises or theage of the woman is above 35 (P=0.001). Moreover, it rises in highaltitude if the pregnant period is above 37 weeks (P=0.001). In thesame high altitude, the incidence of the disease is on the rise if thewomen are not well-educated, which is exactly the same in the plainarea. In a word the incidence of HDCP increases as the altitude rises.Ending the pregnancy in uterine-incision delivery accounts for a largepart in curing the disease (17.6%).Conclusion: the incidence of HDCP is relevant to many factors, such as the cold weather, the changes of temperature, the times andage of pregnancy and the altitude. In high altitude area, the immigrantHan people is more possible to get the disease than the local Zangresidents. HDCP is more harmful to the mother and the baby in highaltitude.
