Objective:It has shown that the mortality of ovarian cancer is situated at the first place in gynecological malignancies, and the survival of five years is only 20% to 30%. Most patients of ovarian cancer are diagnosed in late stage, which have little change to be given surgery or have poor effect after surgery. Chemotherapy has been still a common and effective treatment nowadays, especially to advanced cancers. However the resistance to chemical drugs has become the important cause for the failure of chemotherapy. Thus, seeking the direct therapy to overcome the resistance of drugs is the key measure for the treatment of ovarian cancer. At present, the mechanism of the resisitance to drugs for the cancer cells is not definite. It's demonstrated that apoptosis is the main approach to induce cells death for the anticancer agents, but the alteration of adjustment to apoptosis in cancer cells after drugs trarment may the important factor to drug resisitance. The inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) plays a significant role in adjusting apoptosis of cancer cells. Survivin gene is one of the new members of IAP, which has the smallest molecular weight and the most powerful anti-apoptosis ability...
