Background and Objective In recent years , coronary stenting was rapidly developing, and widely applied to coronary heart diseases, which can alleviate symptoms, improve life quality and prognosis for coronary heart disease patients. However, early or late stent thrombosis and restenosis after stenting would result in recurrent angina, myocardial infarction and even death. Drug treatment was essential to prevent the above events. Platelet avtivation and aggregation play a crucial role in intrastent thrombogenesis , therefore , antiplatelet therapy was of great importance during periprocedure and a long period of time after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). At present, antiplatelet drugs administered to patients undergoing coronary stenting include aspirin, clopidogrel or ticlopidine, cilostazol, platelet GPâ…¡b/â…¢a receptor antagononist etc,and clopidogrel plus aspirin was regarded as a present standard regimen of antiplatelet therapy after PCI.To further reduce thrombotic complications and stent restenosis after PCI,We attempted to add cilostazol in addition to conventional dual antiplatelet(aspirin and clopidogrel) and evaluate the efficacy and safety of the novel triple antiplatelet regimen (aspirin and clopidogrel combined with cilostazol)applied after PCI,and explored the effects of triple antiplatelet therapy on platelet aggregation and activation in...
