Uncontrolled hemorrhage is the major cause of death in civilian and military trauma. Common procedure for treating hemorrhage patients involvs field first aid, fast evacuation and surgical treatment. Development in surgery and transportation has made our medical staff compitant enough to save most of the evacuated hemorrhage patients, but the inefficacy in first aid hemorrhage control still left thousands of such patients in jeopardy.
