Background In China, there are approximately 40 million diabetic patients. Among them, about 20% cases suffering from foot-related complication which is named Diabetic foot. Diabetic foot disease is one of the most common and serious complications of diabetes mellitus and has a significant social economic impact. Vascular disease is one of the most important nosogenetic factors, which includes angiopathy and microangiopathy. It is very crucial to identify the extent and grade of the vascular disease in diabetic foot patients for the diagnosis and therapy. At present, there are many methods investigating the vascular disease, such as DSA, CTA, Ultrasound, and so on, which both have advantages and pitfalls. MR technique can fulfill the MRA reflecting the vascular disease and MR PWI reflecting microcirculation disease noninvasively and repeatedly. Many studies showed that contrast enhancement magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA) was a promising and valuable method for peripheral arterial disease. Recently, the rapid development of MR technique such as multi-channels, Tim coils etc, allows the appearance of faster data acquisition with higher spatial resolution, SNR and wider range. Magnetic resonance perfusion weighted imaging (MR PWI) has been used to measure many kinds of tissue perfusion. Following an intravenous...
