Background and ObjectiveTo study the effects of allogeneic bone marrow mononuclear cell transplantation on ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction. It is sure that ventricular remodeling happens after acute myocardial infarction. It is one of the hottest research to study the methods of delaying ventricular remodeling through bone marrow stem cells transplantation. It has been verified that matrix metalloproteinases, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase and transforming growth factorβ1 play key role on the cardiac remodeling of extracellular matrix and contributed and facilitated collagen synthesis and degradation, therefore, they are closely related to ventricular remodeling. The content of collagen I ,collagen III and the ratio of I / III could be a marker for ventricular remodeling after AMI. To study the inhibition of ventricular remodeling through BMMNCs transplantation after AMI, content of collagen I and III,MMPs and TGFβ1 could to some extent be used to evaluate the degree of myocardial remodeling.
