[Objective]: According to a universal view so far, the abnormal increase and sedimentation of the β-amylase (Aβ), which take place in an Alzheimer Disease (AD) patient' s brain, are the core incidents in the process of stimulating AD neuro-atrophy inreversible pathology. The traditional Chinese medicine KaiXinSan(KXS) restoring ancient ways is one common constituent among many ancient prescriptions, which are beneficial for intelligence. It has been proved to have a fine effect on improving intelligence. To have a further probe into KXS' s molecular mechanism in the field of preventing and curing AD, we cultivate SK-N-SH cells with neuron properties as cell model of the neuron, make use of the Chinese medicinal blood serum pharmacology, and observe KXS medicinal serum' s protection for AD injuries cell which is induced by nerve toxic substance Aβ25-35, and meanwhile inquire into its molecular mechanism. We aim to find a better remedy for the AD and other neuro-atrophy diseases. [Methods]: (1) Extract medicinal serum including KXS.
