Objective:To observe the changes of vital signs, blood-gas and acid-base imbalance in habbits after 42°C WBH for 2 hours;the changes of SOD and MDA which reflect the extent of oxygenation;the changes of LAC and VADL which reflect the extent of acid-base imbalance;the expression of heme oxygenase-1 protein in rabbit vascular endotheliuma cells of brain;the cell apoptosis in brain;the relationship between SOD, MDA and brain cell apoptosis;the influences of profofol on these injury indexes.All these are to study the mechanism of propofol in brain injury protection,to search academic gists for application of different anaesthetic method during WBH and to increase the quality of management of anaesthesia.Methods:(1) Experimental animals:24 rabbits were divided into four groups, normal control group (A group), modle group (B group), 5mg ? kg-1 ? h-1 propofol group (C group) and 10mg ? kg-1 ? h-1 propofol group(D group), every group contained 6 rabbits. B, C and D group were irradiated by a heat instrument, maintained the temperature of anus at about 42°C for 2 hours.
