ObjectiveTo study autoallergic outer table of skull, porous high-density polyethylene (Medpor)and titanium system reconstruct open cranio-maxillofacial bone defective deformity in maxillary sinus.MethodsThree discrete experimental groups were formed at random.Each comprising 21 Chinchillas. The subjects were injected with 30mg/kg Pentobarbital Sodium intraperitoneal injection before surgery. Chinchillas of right apertura maxillaris were blocked up with bone wax to developed a animal model. After 8 weeks, an incision was made in infraorbital border through the skin,underlying muscle and periosteum bilaterally. A standardized 8-mm defect was made bilaterally in the maxillary sinus to include bone and mucosa.Microscopic anatomy histologic analysis was made in maxillary sinus mucosa and bone .Three different materials were used including autoallergic outer table of skull ,porous high-density polyethylene (Medpor)and titanium system. The three different materials ,which were 10mm in diameter,were placed in softtissue pockets to obturate the defects ,exposing one surface of the material to the open sinus . closure in two layers (muscle and skin) was effected with suture in each layer.The three different materials were compared .Animals were killed at 1,2,3,4,6,8 and 12 weeks after post-operation. Macroscopic observation normal maxillary sinus mucosa closure and inflam maxillary sinus mucosa closure.The speciments for the amount of mucosal closure was measured with three types of materials.Histological sections and scanning electron microscope(SEM) were evaluated for bone ,soft-tissue...
