Background and Intention of Study: A lot of clinical trials had demonstrated satisfactorily effectiveness of ARBs as an Antihypertensive Agents and their additional protective benefit for cardiac vascular and Cerebral vessels. But most of these trials were based on events and few of them were based on intermedial end-point. Especially in the treatment of hypertension , there are some dispute for ACEIs whether they could to use for ameliorate arteriosclerosis and improve the function of blood vessel . Vascular lesion is the base of the generation and evolutionary in various kinds of cardiac vascular events, so early discovery and ameliorate the vascular lesion are the fundamental measures to control or mitigate cardiovascular events. Increased carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) could be as an independent risk factor for prognosis of the cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Increased IMT is an atherosclerotic early marker.
