ObjectivePersistent hypetension and hyporeactivity to vasopressor agents of septic shocks are always the most difficult problems to deal with .The mortality rate from septic shocks has remained high(35%-50%) .Now it is realized that the excess and persistent production of Nitric Oxide (NO), which produced through induced Nitric Oxide Synthase(iNOS) generated from macrophages, endothelium and smooth muscle cells , stimulated by endotoxin and cytokines, has play a major role in septic shock, induced hypotension and vascular hyporeactivity to other vasoconstrictors. Therefore, Specifically selective iNOS inhibitors decreaseing the production of NO has been proposed as an adjunct to septic shock therapy. NG-nitro-Arginine-Lysine (Tripeptide), is a new synthesized selective iNOS inhibitor, has nothing with the express of the iNOS. In the present study, we observe the effect of the new synthetic tripeptide [Arg(NO3)- Lys(OCH3)- Arg(NO3)] on L-arginine/NO pathway of macrophages cell line (RAW264.7) and study the effects of tripeptide on increasing the MAP and amelioration of the function of organ and metabolism of tissue in a...
