ObjectiveNeovascular glaucoma (NVG) is a severe secondary angle - closure glaucoma with neovascularization and fibrovascular mambranes on the surface of iris and anterior chamber angle, which can contribute to the closure of anterior chamber angle and the increase of intraocular pressure (IOP). It can destroy the structure and function of the sick eye quickly. Its therapy is very difficult. Neovascular glaucoma Combined with vitreous hemorrhage is not only complex in the state, but also difficult in setting up effective filter channels through traditional filtration surgery. Cyclocryotherapy has the dangers of ocular hypo tony and phthisis. So this experiment observes the clinic effect of the surgery combined pars plana vitrectomy and Ahmed glaucoma drainage implant placement for neovascular glaucoma Combined with vitreous hemorrhage, and provides evidence for a safe and effective treatment of neovascular glaucoma Combined with vitreous hemorrhage.MethodsThe medical records of 38 patients (38 eyes ) who have neovascular glaucoma Combined with vitreous hemorrhage at the Eye department in the Forth Hospital of Shenyang between January 1, 2003 and June 30, 2005.
