Streptococcus Pneumoniae is an important element of bacterial pathogen. It causes local and systematical infection with high morbidity and mortality. Bacterial resistance have been increasing amony many bacterial pathogens, including Streptococcus Pneumoniae since antibiotics have been used. Penicilin resistance and multiple resistance of Streptococcus Pneumoniae have rosen with upgrading tendency, Therefore a stringent need for against S.pneumoniae infection was to develope novel antibiotic.Colicins are a typical model of bacteriocins secreted by E.coli to kill other strain of E.coli and related bacteria . Now people have known more 25 kinds of Colicins. Colicins have three modes of action: forming ion-channel, inhibiting protein synthesis and fragmentation of DNA. Colicin Ia was demanstrated that forming voltage-dependent ion channel on the target cell membrane result in bacteria death because of leakage of cell content, energe failure. This mode of damage is very efficient, when Colicin Ia...
