Background and objective Lung cancer is one of the most malignant cancers which is hazarding the people's health and life in the world. In the past half century, the incidence and mortality of lung cancer has been keeping on increasing in most countries and regions. Antiangiogenesis in cancer is the vital target in tumor biological therapy, developing of new efficient antineoplastic agents is always the hot-point in this field. The Fungi of Huai Er (PS-T) is extracted by hot water from one fungus named trametes robiniphila murr, the main active component of it is polysaccharide.It has been proved that PS-T could improve immunity and induce the production of interferon-αandγ;it had an apoptosis inducing effect on tumor cells and could arrest tumor cells at G1 and S phase; it had significant anticancer effect on mouse S₁₈₀ solid and ascites type cell line,and could prolong the life of bearing cancer mouse.
