Object: To investigate the correlation between aging-process and middle ear resonant frequency and study whether different age teams need to establish theirnormal values of middle ear resonant frequency respectively. Method: Cross-sectional study is applied in this research, 950 patients were included,3~87 years old, and the 950 patients are divided into 8 teams by ten years. Take the puretone test as the golden criterion, all patients' air -bone conducton gap is no more than 10dB .Using Pearson Correlation Coefficients to discuss the correlation between aging-process and middle ear resonant frequency, using three kinds of rank test to study the difference between left ear and right ear, gender, normal hearing and sensoneural hearing loss, and 8 age teams. P≤0.05 is considered statistics difference. Using SAS to do statistic analyze. Results: The correlation coefficient between aging-process and middle ear resonant frequency is -0.05335,it means that there is no significant relation between them. There is a prominent difference between female and male, the female' middle ear resonant frequency is higher than male'. The difference of...
