Effects Of Polyglycosides Of Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook F On Adjuvant Arthritis Rats Model

Objective: To study the effects of polyglycosides of Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook F (T_â…¡) preventing and treating secondary arthritis in rats of adjuvant arthritis(AA), to explore the expression of SP,CGRP in L₅ dorsal root ganglion of different groups.Methods: 20 rats were divided into four groups: normal group, model group, T_â…¡ preventive group, T_â…¡ therapeutic group. Besides normal group, other rats were immunized with the Freund's Complete Adjuvant (FCA). After the AA models were completed, swelling dimension of joints and arthritis index were examined at different stages. On the 7^th day AA rats of T_â…¡ preventive group were fed by T_â…¡ 30mg/kg every day for 7 days. On the 19^th day AA rats were feed by T_â…¡ 30mg/kg every day for 7 days. On the 28^th day, all the rats were put to death, the ankle joints, L₅ dorsal root ganglions were collected. After fixation in formalin, ankle joints of rats were sliced up and stained with H.
