| Chinese traditional herb Litchi seed is a grower in southwest, south and southeast of china. It has many effect, for example it can restrain HBsAg, improve function of liver regulating components, potentiate antioxidation and the function of lowering blood glucose and lipid have also been proved. In order to find the compounds which have effect as medicine, we have done developed studies on the chemical compounds of Litchi seed, and the optimum extraction process of procyanidin was optimized.We adopted several separation technologies such as extraction, chromatogram and crystallization to separate the parts of EtOAc and n-BuOH. At last nine compounds were obtained and seven of them have been identified with the modern spectrum technology. The seven compounds are protocatechuic aldehyde, protocatechuic acid, daucosterol, (-)-epicatichin, procyanidinA1, procyanidinA2, rutin. Compound II ,IV~VIII are isolated from the seed of Litchi Chinensis Sonn. for the first time and compound II,V and VI are isolated from Litchi Chinensis Sonn. for the first time.Procyanidin are composed by epicatichin (compound V)and catichin which belongs to flavan-3-ol.Compound VI,VII are A-type procyanidin which have high contents(15g/6000g). The procyanidins, especially oligomeric procyanidin, have strong antioxidation. So the optimum extraction process of procyanidin was optimized with single factor test and L16 (45) orthogonal test. Optimum extraction conditions were determined as follows: 50%EtOH as extracting solvent, temperature 60°C, stock ratio l:20(mass:volume),time 3h.Under optimum condition the yield of extract is 5.05%. |
