| ObjectiveInvestigating the therapeutic effect and side-effect of JiaWeiDiHuang Recipe(JWDH) Combined With Prednisone(P) and Compound cyclophosphamide(CTX) In Treatment Of systemic lupus erythematosus, to know if JiaWeiDiHuang Recipe have the effect of promoting the therapeutic effect and lowing the side-effect on systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) . MethodsThe 80 patients with different stage SLE were divided into two groups randomly and treated by JWDH +P+CTX and P+CTX respectively. In JWDH+P+CTX group, 40 patients were given JWDH 200ml (po bid);P 0.5-1mg / kg. d (po qm);CTX 1-2mg/kg. d (po qd) for 8wk. The other 40 patients were given P 0.5-1mg / kg. d (po qm);CTX 1-2mg/kg. d (po qd) for 8wk. They were observed regularly. All these data were figured out and analyzed by SPSS. ResultsThe total efficacy rates of JWDH +P+CTX(male 4, female 36, age33.2±1.53y) and P+CTX (male 3, female 37, age 35.3 ± 1.42y) were different after 4 weeks and 8 weeks treatment, they were significant differences between two groups(P<0.05) . (1) The effective rate of disease effect was 42.10%, 29.0%, 94. 74%and 44. 7%respectively in the experimental group and control group after 4 weeks and 8 weeks treatment. The experimental group got more obvious disease effects and effective rate of the disease effect than those of the control group. There was significant difference after 8 weeks treatment between the two groups in the TCM symptom effect and the total effective rate (P<0.05).(2) The effective rate of TCM symptom effect was 60. 52 %, 27. 5%, 97. 36 %, 36.8% respectively in the experimental group and control group after 4 weeks and 8 weeks treatment. The experimental group got more obvious TCM symptomeffect than those of the control group. There was significant difference after 8 weeks treatment between the two groups in the main index effect (/KO. 05).(3) In the main index of SLEDAI and SLEFI was 17.8 + 0.93,11. 0±0. 40, 22. 53 ±0.64,11.5 + 0.30 respectively in the experimental group and control group after 4 weeks treatment, while 8. 53 + 0. 84,6. 26±0. 50, 21. 7+0. 93, 9.84±0. 35 respectively after 8 weeks treatment. The experimental group got more obvious decrease in the main index of SLEDAI after 8 weeks treatment and SLEFI after 4 weeks treatment than those of the control group. The experimental group got no significant difference in the main index of SLEDAI after 4 weeks treatment and SLEFI after 8 weeks treatment than those of the control group.(4) There was significant difference in CRP after 8 weeks treatment between the two groups (K0. 05). There was significant difference in ESR after 4 and 8 weeks treatment (/<0.05).
