Variant angina, also called as vasospastic angina, expands very quickly, and induces miocardial infarction, so it is very important to cure this disease reasonably. The essence of variant angina is coronary artery spasm. When it happened, the ion balance inside and outside of cells is broken, and the extracellular [K+] increased suddenly, which can make vessels contract. Furthermore, the maladjustment of vasoactive peptide is deemed to be an important aspect of VSA. The balance of vasoconstrictor and vasodilator can maintain normal tension of blood vessel. The existing of ET-1-like immunoreaction makes EC release a lot of ET, which damages vessel and cardiac muscle. ET-1, an endogenetic factor, combining with unique ETR, participates in the course of cardiovascular disease. The rising of ET can induce coronary artery contraction intensively. m-nisoldipine (m-Nis), a new compound ofdihydropyridines (DHPs), was developed by Hebei Medical University, according to the characteristics of molecular formula of nisoldipine (Nis). Our previous studies had shown that m-Nis likely becomes a very good vasodilator drug because of its selectivity for vessels. We have found that m-Nis can inhibit the...
