Objective: To investigate the effect of synergetic antihepatocellular carcinoma of hyperthermia and oridonin, and the best combined pattern and the possible mechanisms of the combination of hyperthermia and oridonin , which may provide useful evidence for clinical study. Methods: (1).The MTT was used to estimate the inhibition effectof hyperthermia and oridonin separately and together on cultured SMMC-7721 cell in vitre. To evaluate whether the combination of hyperthermia and oridonin. had a synergetic effect. (2). Apoptotic cells with Gimsa staining were observed under light microscope. (3). DNA contents of apoptotic cells and the apoptosis index were determined by flowcytometry. (4).AFP contents was determined by ELISA. (5).ALP, ALB contents were detected by biochemistry meter of the whole automatic movement. Results: (l).The use of hyperthermia and oridonin separately andtogether could remarkably inhibit growth of hepatomia cell, which showed dose-dependent and time-dependent effects. Oridonin is a drug without temperature threshold. The inhibition of HCC by usage of hyperthermia or oridonin separately could be significantly improved by usage of two together (p<0.001). It also markedly improved in different combined pattern(p<0.05). The inhibiting effect of simultaneous use of hyperthermia and oridonin on cancer cells was more than that of...
