This years, digital computer technique has accelerated the progress of other technique including medical computer tomography technique/computer aired design technique/ Rapid Prototyping technique and reverse engineering technique, and those technique make it possible to utilize medical image producing body framework 3D model to aid clinical work.At present it is a hotspot in domestic and foreign to study the 3D medical model application based on Rapid Prototyping technique. It's mainly clinical application is surgical operation planning/ design and making artifical apparatus and analysis of biology mechanics.The first goal is to finish the full process from gathering medical image data /image reconstruction to RP model's facture. So, we can do a objective estimate for the technique's clinical application and make a base for clinical application in the future.In this article we make a simply introduction of Rapid Prototyping technique /reserve engineering technique/medical computer tomography technique, at the same time make a presentation for its application sample and region in medical.We adopt the technique route that directly obtain CT image , then do the necessary image process for RP, and in the end manufacture a mode using a RP equipment. Also we talk about the application feasibility and limit of the technique for clinical application and make a theory analysis for the process's precision error.
