Glutamine(GLN) is the most abundant free aminoacid.As the critical nitrogen carrier and donator,GLN plays an important roll in deintoxication of nitrogen.At the same time,GLN is also the precurosor of purine,pyrimidine,protein,ribonucleotide and glutathione-SH(GSH).GLN is a kind of non-essential amino acid,and can be synthesized by more tissues,but under some stress such as violent exercise,trauma,infection,and so on,the required value of GLN beyonged the capability of synthesis.At this time,the content of GLN was reduced,which resulted in the protein reduced too,then ,affected the function of a lot of tissues includes liver,intestine,kidney,central nerve system,immune cells and pancreatic-βcell.Liver as the critical organ which has the fuction of metatbolism,has both the GLN synthetase and glutaminase.They can synthesis and decompose GLN and plays a syngnificant roll in control the level of anmonia in peripheral vein.So supplied with exogenous GLN,the organism can increase the substrate of hepatic energy metabolism,protect the construction and function of mitochondrion,reduce the production and delivery of oxygen free radical,increase the content of ATP,stimulate glucogen synthesis and reservation,inhibite the expression of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB) and tummor necrosisfactor-α(TNF-α),inhibite the release of inflammatory factor and the aggregation of noutrophil,decrease the apoptosis and oncosis.Rencently,the oncosis was found has a critical roll in hepatic injury.This experiment objected to explore the roll and significance of GLN in CCL4 induced acute hepatic injury,to provide some experiment basements for the clinical use of GLN.The 50 SD rats were randomly divided into model group(n =20) ,GLN pretreated group( n =20) and control group( n =10).The animal model was established by CCL4 intraperitoneal injection.The rats were executed after injured 4,8,12,16,24 h.To evaluate the hepatic injury,The serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) were detected by automatic biochemistry analysator.
