Objective: It has been more a thousand years since the big type epiphyte was used as drugs. They can reduce cholesterin in blood and decrease the blood pressure. Especially their anti-tumor effect draw lots of attention. The lentinus edodes (berk) sing belongs to the epiphyte, which is one of the favorite edible mushrooms in the world. Lots of researchers inside and outside of our country have been focusing on the study of the anti-tumor effect of lentinus in the last decade. At present, the study field is divided into two parts: one is the studing of the fruiting bodies of Lentinus edodes and its extraction, while few study is about Lentinus edodes mycelium`s fermentative liquid and its extraction. The fruiting bodies of Lentinus edodes need about 10 months to grow up. It is so long to get the material. Letinus edodes C91-3, whose fermentative liquid has notable function of anti-tumor and antibacterial, is a special fungus which has been screened for many years. the polysaccharide and aminophenol in its fermentative liquid is similar to them in the fruiting bodies of Lentinus edodes .and we can get the enough material in 5~7 days, which provides the possibility and foundation for the industrial production. The other is the study of the polysaccharide of Letinus edodes on immunomodulation. There is also few study about the proteins of Letinus edodes. Based on the character of proteins we experimented on anti-tumor effect with Lentinus edodes mycelium`s fermentative liquid (LFP91-3C). The experiment showed that LFP91-3C has significant anti-tumor effect both in vitro and in vivo. we realized that it is important to study anti-tumor effect of LFP91-3C and its mechanism which could be...
