RNA editing is a kind of genetic decoration mechnism studied in recent years. It edits special position of pre-RNA, changing adenosine to inosine (Adenosine-to-inosine , A-to-I ) , and then decorates target gene at transcription level. Through this edition, the RNA translation products may be altered , different from the anticipated product. Apart from the traditional approach of protein translation, RNA editing can produce a variety of protein isomer, playing an important role in the form of protein diversity. More and more study show that in mammals, a lot of very important protein are regulated under A-to-I editing, affecting their structure and function and even the signal-transmit way. Previous study about A-to-I editing focus on centrol nerve system and the study is relatively poor on peripheral tissues , which are abuandant of I-mRNA.
