Radiotherapy is one of the frequent methods to treat malignant tumors. But it can't be ignored that the side effects on normal immune system and hematopoietic system when tumor cells are killed by radioactive ray. It is already tested that there are two significant features on the radioactive damages of immune system. The first is the inchoate damages are severe, displaying the obvious injury in the lymphatic organs after low dose radiation. The second is the recovery in anaphase comes very slow. Though the histological structure of the lymphatic organs almost reverts, the number of lymphocytes is still obvious lower than normal, especially the peripheral blood lymphocytes.
