| ObjectiveTo investigate the principle of the perioperative management and the selection of operative methods for primary liver cancer ( PLC ) complicated withcirrhosis and hypersplenism.MethodsFrom March 2003 to March 2006, the clinical data of 55 patients of PLC complicated with cirrhosis and hypersplenism treated with operation were analyzed retrospectively. The program of perioperative managements of the patients included :(1)correction of anemia, hypoproteinemia and coagulation dysfunction. (2) nutrition support. (3)improving and protecting liver function. (4) preparing gut as the same as the operation on the colon.(5) selection anesthetic methods and operative technique in the operative period.
