Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the most common neoplasms. The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma ranks sixth globly and third in China among malignant tumors. Hepatocellular carcinoma can accur at any age, especially from 40 to 49. Ratio of male to female is 2 ~ 5: 1. According to the estimate made by the IARC, the total number of hepatocellular carcinoma patients reached 0.564 million in 2000 and 55% found in China, i.e. 0.306 millions patients were in China. The death toll of hepatocellular carcinoma worldwide is 0.3 millions. The number of patients has been growing year after year.
