Objective: To investigate the influence of atomized ketamine on the generation of IL-13 and the concentration of lymphocyte [Ca2+]i.Metheds: Forty male specific pathogen—free SD wild—type rats were distributed into five groups randomly: group C, group A, group D, group K1 and group K2. The rats in group A were sensitized with OVA (chicken egg albumin, crude grade Vsigma )absorbed onto aluminum hydroxide twice time on days 0 and 7. On days from 14 to 21 rats were challenged by inhalation of 1% OVA aerosol. The rats in Group D, Kl and K2 were sensitized and challenged by the same way. Before challenged with OVA, they were exposed to 0.1mg/ml dexamethasone and 25mg/ml or 50mg/ml ketamine aerosol respectively for 20 min in each day. The rats in Group C was just injected and inhaled pyrogen-free saline only. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and serum were ready for IL-13 analyse with Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) . Blood sampales were taken for separation and purification of peripheral blood lymphocyte which were measured by flow cytometry (FCM) for [Ca2+ ]i.Results: Comparation Group A with group C, the intracellular...
