The Effects Of Cordyceps Sinensis Combined With Red Ginseng On The Kidney Injury Of Diabetic Rats

Aim To investigate the protective mechanism of Cordyceps Sinensis (CS) combined with Red Ginseng (RG) on the kidney of diabetic rats.Methods Wistar rats were randomized into four groups: VH group (sham group, n = 10); DN group(untreated diabetic group, n=10); DLC group(CS combined with RG treated diabetic group with low dosage, n = 10); DHC group(CS combined with RG treated diabetic group with high dosage, n = 10). Diabetic rats were induced by intraperitoneal streptozotoeia iniection (50mg/kg) and killed after 12 weeks treatment.
