| Purpose: To explore the theory basis and the best programme in the clinical prevention and cure of acne conglobata, and to study the effective mechanism of body acupuncture combined with ventouse and venesection acne conglobata.Methods: 40 cases of acne conglobata patients were randomly divided into the treatment group which was treated by body acupuncture combined with ventouse and venesection(n=20) and the control group which was given minocycline(n=20). Prior to and after treatment of 2 therapeutic courses, serum concentration of interlukin-6(IL-6) was analysed by ELISA in the two groups.Results: (l)The total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.But there wasn't statistics difference in the two groups(P>0.05).(2) before treatment, IL-6 were no significant differences in the two groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences before and after treatment in the decrease of IL-6 in both groups(P<0.01).And after treatment, IL-6 of the treatment group decreased more significantly than that of the medicine control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: (l)The skin lesion of acne conglobata was improved significantly by both therapies. (2)the effects of two therapies were insignificantly different in statistics, but minocycline has some adverse side effects. Acupuncture combined with ventouse and venesection hasn't any obvious adverse side effects, so it's better than minocycline in the treatment of Acne conglobata.(3)regulating immune function may be an important mechanism to treat acne conglobata. |
