Objectives: ①Quantify and compare the hepatic arterial and portal venous perfusion of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),peritumour liver and liver in control group; ②To explore the correlation of the perfusion of HCC with its pathologic grade and expression of thymidine phosphorylase (TP) to obtain a way evaluating tumor angiogenesis in vivo. Methods: HCC group consisted of 36 untreated HCC patients (age 28~72 years, mean age 48 years), who came to our hospital between Dec 2004 and Dec 2005, and final diagnosis of all cases were depended on pathology results or clinical general diagnosis(16 cases underwent surgery). 15 cases who were healthy formed control group(age 26—68 years, mean age 42 years). All of 51 cases underwent plain CT scan of the whole liver, CT perfusion scan (CTP) in order, and after CTP ended for 10 minutes, all cases also needed conventional contrast scanning. Light Speed 16 of GE was used in this research. When plain CT scan, the range was from diaphragm to lower margin of liver, and slice thickness was 5mm with pitch of 1.375. After it, the target slices were repeatedly scanned for 50s during a breath-holding after 9s of intravenous bolus injection of 50ml nonionic contrast media at a rate of 4.0-5. Oml/s. The results...
