Gender refers to the roles that men and women play and the relations that arise out of these roles, which are socially constructed, not biologically determined. Because of the different roles that men and women play in different society and culture context, there are gender different in access to opportunity and resources, and their ability about making decision and maintain human rights are different. Because of the gender roles and inequities gender relations interact with some societal and economic elements, gender differences are reflected in gender differences and inequalities in women's and men's vulnerability to illness, health status, access to preventative and curative measures, burdens of ill-health, and quality of care. Nowadays, WHO argue to integrate gender analysis into all of their researched, policies, plans, programs and activities. Through integrating gender perspectives into health fields, we can find gender differences and inequities in access to health resources and health services utilization and find ways to address gender inequities in health status.China is a developing country with the largest population in the world. Female is about 0.65 billion. Promoting gender equal and women development are main objects to construct a harmonious socialism society. China has achieved significant progress in women's health during the past decades, but far less has been achieved with respect to gender equality overall. There are still disparities between man and women.Although some researches have been done to integrate gender perspectives into health filed in China, those research projects mainly focus on reproduction issues and AIDS only. There lack systematic researches on explore gender differences in social, economic, and culture elements which are relevant to health, gender differences in health services demand and use, especially lack of researches on gender differences among different family income and age population.
