Effects Of Carvedilol On The Collagen Remodeling And The Expression Of MMP-13/TIMP-2 Of Non-infarction Zone In Rats After Acute Myocardial Infarction

Objective: To study the Effects of carvedilol on the collagen remodeling and the expression of MMP-13/TIMP-2 of non-infarction zone in rats after acute myocardial infarction.Methods: AMI model was established with the ligation of anterior descending coronary artery in female SD rats. Twenty four hours after operation ,83 survivors were randomly assigned to AMI control(MI,n=43)or carvedilol[10mg/(kg.d)] treatment (C,n=40)group, including a sham-operated group(S,n=27). According to observation time, each group was subdivide into two subgroups: MI48 h group,MI4W group; C48h group,C4W group; S48 h group,S4W group; the final rats number of each subgroup was 11,13,9,15,10,and 10,respectively. Carvedilol was given to group C by gastric gavage at 24h after ligation.
