Background:The ability of human reproduction has degenerated over the past several decades; many scientific reports have suggested there is a trend toward decreasing the quantity and ability of men's sperms. Some researchers have found that there are half lower than past 50 years of the data men's density of sperms, about 1% have reduced every year. Some studies proved that the reason of decreasing sperm quality were the result of environment' destruction. For examples, the releasing of contamination obstructions, the alterations patterns of life or diet as well as the increasing of surrounding temperature have attracted the people's attention more and more in recent years. It has been well known that the developments of mammals' testis need a lower temperature than that in the abdomen including humans. Several studies of cryptorchidism and man working in high temperature or dressing jeans have revealed that their abilities of fertility have decreased. Temperature as an environmental factor induced male infertility has attracted much attention. In addition, there have no enough studies in the mechanism of spermatogenesis arrest induced by heat, and also there are many negative effects in the male contraceptive methods during these years like surgical ligation of vas deferens. All these factors have brings researchers to found a safety and efficacy methods for the problems in male reproduction. Temperature as a new method to anti or disrupt spermatogenesis has enlighten researchers whom studies the male contraceptive. So we have selected the artificial increases in scrotum or testicle temperature in rats, to demonstrate the mechanism of heat induced spermatogenesis arrest from the cellular and molecular level, further understanding the mechanism of heat induced male infertility. It is important to study the impairment of environment contaminant to male fertility in the future, and useful to prevent, delay or abate the damages by above factors. Moreover, the research can give some advices to the preventive health care of immature mammal's reproduction, and offer some theory and new targeted approaches to male contraceptive...
