OBJECTIVE To investigate the variation of the expression of CD11b and release of IL-6 of human monocyte strain THP-1 cells stimulated by human C-reactive protein(CRP), and effects of intervention with statins or polydatin(PD), the research focused on the importance and mechanism of CRP in AS. On the other hand, by observing anti-inflammation effects of statins and polydatin, it aimed to assess effects of polydatin in anti-AS.METHODS THP-1 cells cultured in vitro, have been divided into seven groups, every group includes four units. These groups include: group(1): control group, with culture medium no FCS; group (2)/(3)/(4): CRP groups, with CRP of three kinds of concentration (1, 10, 20mg/L);group (5)/(6)/(7): drugs intervention groups, firstly with pravastatin(1,10mmol/L) or polydatin(2ng/ml), after two hours with CRP(20mg/L). Collected cells, CD11b were measured by flow cytometer(FCM); gained supernatant, IL-6 were measured by ELISA.
