Objective: The present study was undertaken to determine the effect of two doses of HCG with the same dose of Ins which resulted in hyperinsulinemia on induction of PCOS in SD rats. Depending on the first step of modeling , it was investigation that the apoptosis was detective in the different stages of follicles (primoedial, preantral, antral follicle) in ovarian sections which belonged to succeeded model group and control group. To analyze the changful tendence which happen to the rate of apoptosis of the three categories of follicles in PCOS.Methods: Control group was administered with 0.2ml NS per day from day 1 to 10 and twice-daily from day 11-22. The daily Ins dosage was increased from 0.5IU to 6.0IU on day 1-10 for HCG3.0 group and HCG6.0 group; the per day 6.0IU Ins with HCG 3.0IU or 6.0IU was administered from day 11 to 22. To overview the estrous cycle by vaginal smear, the ovarian augmentation by weight of two ovaries and the largest ovarian cross-sectional areas, ovulation and follicle change by ovarian histology...
