| To investigate the composition principles in compound prescripition of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), this paper expounds the effect of the main active compononents of GegenQinlian Decoction(GQD). By using the pharmacokinetic method, the investigation, consequently, makes it possible to clarify the effect and status of the other drugs in the description, and leads to the further research. To inverstigate the composition principles in compound prescription of the TCM and the herb and how to increase curative effect and decrease side effect after compatibility.Objective: To establish the method to determine the quantities of Puerarin(Pu), Baicalin(Bai), Berberine(Ber) in the plasma, and study the imitative rules of the pharmacikinetic parameters of the Pu, Bai., Ber in different compatibility, and further to discuss the compatibility rule of GQD.Method: We employ the orthogonal design L~8(2~7) table to device the experimental groups, we considered the fixed Pueraria lobata ,Scutellaria baicalensis and Coptis cheinensis Franch as the fixed factor in different experiment,and the other three herbs as the other three factors, "yes" and "no" as two levels for each factor.
