Background and objective:The natural disease history of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) typicallyevolves 3 distinct clinical stages: chronic phase(CP), accelerated phase and blast crisis. Once the disease enters into the BC from CP, nearly every patient will be drug resistant and can keep alive for only half a year. The potential mechanisms responsible for the disease transformation from CP to BC/AP remain unclear. Thus study on the potential transformation mechanisms of CML by comparative proteome analysis is significant.Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis was used to analyze the changes of proteome between the bone marrow mononuclear cell of CML-CP and that of CML-BP . In order to explore the potential critical protein involving the transformation , the functional proteome related to CML-BP were analyzed comprehensively. Materials and methods:1. We collected the bone marrow mononuclearcell from 25 cases of CML-CP and 20 of CML-BC.
