1 .ObjectiveAlzheimer's disease is a cognitive handicap with a high morbidity in old people. The clinical features are developed memory deficits and progressive loss of cognitive abilities. Its pathological hallmark is senile plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. The etiology and pathogenesis of AD is still unclear .more and more research results demonstrated that AD is cause by the interaction between genetic and environmental factors .when there is a detect of detoxifing enzymes system ,it can induce the accumulation of environmental toxins in the body and subsequently the toxins damage the neurons in substantia nigra chronically .The xenobiotic metabolism is complex and depends on the interaction and active balance of many kinds of detoxifing enzymes .Phase I enzyme cytochrome P450(CYP1A1) and phase II enzyme N-acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2) are main enzymes which involve in the metabolism of xenobiotic . NAT2 is one of the popular metabolic enzymes in the world. It catalyses acetyl radical from acetyl coA to mixed Anulus amines, which plays important role in drug metabolism as well as inactivation oractivation of carcinogen. As the second enzyme of biotransformarion, itsactivity directly affects metabolic response of carcinogen in vivo and intensity of toxic reaction. NAT2 has M1 ,M2 and M3 alleles due to mutation of different enzyme-cutting site. Allele in no...
