With the development of infrared thermal imaging technology, the application of thermography in medicine is widespread increasingly. The skin temperature of healthy human, as a reference in diagnoses, is becoming a prominent question. Firstly, this thesis expatiated the operation principle and development of infrared thermal imaging, summarized the application of thermograph in the medical science and most recent development. Secondly, through analyzed the various heat production and different heat disperse way of human body, has discussed the physical foundation of human body thermal equilibrium, and analyzed the regulation mechanism of human skin temperature. Furthermore, The skin surface of 208 mainland healthy youth volunteers was divided into 21 areas according to anthropotomy and was measured by Thermal Texture Maps (TTM) for the first time. The experimental result was statistical analyzed by SPSS software, and the characteristics of temperature distribution of body surface were obtained. The symmetry of the bilateral temperature was also analyzed. The results showed that the skin temperature of normal youth is symmetry and the difference between two sides of body is no more than 0.2℃, the average temperature of each area is between 32.6 ~ 35.9 ℃. Our study primarily offered a normative database of youth, which can be a useful tool for the diagnoses and assessment of diseases by thermal imaging.
