[Objective] Doing coritrastive research on mechanical and physical properties andcorrosion resistance of Ni-Cr alloy with different coatings. [Materials and Methods] 1.By the techniques of magnetron sputtering plating, electroplating, andcoating-firing, to make titanium nitride(TiN)film, gold electroplating film, gold paste and gold-ceramic compound separately on the surface of Ni-Cr alloy.2. By electron-probe microanalysis, to determine surface status, thickness of coatings, interface status in micron and micro-hole percentage of the four coatings.3. The Vickers hardness values of the four coatings had been tested separately by sclerometer ; The interface bond strength between the different coating and Ni-Cr alloy is tested by notch method.4. The corrosion resistance of the Ni-Cr alloy with the four coatings were qualitatively and quantitatively studied by immersing into the natural and acidic artificial saliva and by electrochemical test.[Results]1.
