Immuosuppressive agents have reduced the immune response of the recipient against the allo-graft. More and more patients wish to be cured through organ transplantation. So the discrepancy between the demand and supply of organs for clinical transplantation becomes a major problem. Xenotransplantation is considered a promising possible solution to the problem. Pig-to-Non human primate transplantation model is important basic research for the of pig-to-human transplantation. Though rhesus monkey, the receptor in the model, is close to human in biology and physiology, the genetic difference between the two species remains unclear.RNA samples were extracted from liver, spleen and peripheral blood cells (PBC) of human and rhesus monkey, and were reversely transcripted and hybridized onto Illumina Sentrix Human-6 gene expression microarray respectively. Genes with the detected signal higher than 1000 and diff-scorehigher than 100 were selected as significant difference results. The resultsshowed that more than 6000 genes were found totally on microarrays. Among those, 24 genes, which are closely related to ischemical reperfusion injury, were analyzed. The gene expression concordance rate was 82.36% between...
