Study On The Relationship Between The Criminological Characteristics,Psychopathological Factors And The Capacity Of Criminal Responsibilities For Patients With Schizophrenia

Objective: To explore the relationship between the criminological characteristics, the psychopathological factors and the capacity of criminal responsibilities of involving in the criminal patients with schizophrenia, and provide scientific evidence for the forensic psychiatric assessment by screening the closely-related factors of criminal responsibilities.Methods: Data collected from 459 suspected offenders with schizophrenia was used a scale of forensic psychiatric assessment designed by our institution which included criminological items, positive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS) and global assessment function(GAF) to investigate the correlation between the criminological characteristics , the psychopathological factors and the criminal responsibilities.
