ObjectivesThe aim of this study was to analyze the pH value, calcium, phosphonium, nitrogen monoxidum, chlorinum, fluorine and immunoglobulin SigA, IgG content of saliva from children without dental caries and children with severe early childhood caries (S-ECC). Methods(1)Two groups of 40 children varying in age from 2 to 6 years were selected: Group I, children with severe early childhood caries(S-ECC), dfms≥6; Group II, caries-free children dfms=0. (2)The collection and treatment of the saliva: collect the calm complete saliva every day from 9am to 11am.Every sample was 3ml. Then the sample was centrifugated to remove the cast-off cells and other residua within 30min, 4℃10000rmp/min, conserve 2.5ml the supernate in the refrigerator of -70℃. (3) The pHvalue was measured by pH electrode and the fluorine content was test by fluoride electrode. The other content calcium, phosphonium, nitrogen monoxidum, chlorinum were measured by spectrophotometric method and immunoglobulin SigA, IgG were measured by ELISA. (4)Comparisons of values between groups were made by using t-test. The correlation analysis of the measured component of S-ECC children's saliva and the dmfs was done by Pearson correlation analysis. First the...
