ObjectiveObserve the expression of RARs in the normal breast tissues, breast fiberous adenoma and ER positive and negative invasive introductal breast cancersMaterial and MethodsGet 50 breast tissues from HuaXi hospital surgeon department. Among these tissues, there are 15 ER positive invasive introductal breast cancers,5 ER negative invasive introductal breast cancers, 15 breast fiberous adenoma and 15 normal breast tissues. (1) Semi-quantitive RT-PCR was carried out to test the expression of RARs mRNA in 50 breast tissues. (2) Using the display profile of the breast cancer by RFDD-PCR , detect theexpression of RARs in the profile.Results(1) No significant difference about the RARa among all the breast tissues(P>0.05), but there is higher expression in the ER positive than the ER negative invasive introductal breast tissues. The result has the statistic significance(P=0.008); In this experiment we have not observed the expression of RAR β; RARγ' expression is higher in the benign and malignant breast tissues than the normal ones(P=0.0079), but there is no distinct difference between the benign and the malignant tissues(P>0.05) .
