In order to make our school keep up with those changes, train graduates meeting the demand of employing unit and success in the aboil competition, at the same time lay a foundation to promote, the author researches on the feature of Gansu Health School, by the method of the question survey and the analysis on the teaching plans of nursing major from 1982 to 2006.From the development situation of nursing education including the meanings of nursing education, the situation of secondary nursing education in national nursing education, the standard of training talent in secondary nursing education, and the development history and the present situation of nursing education, this research analyzes the meanings of the feature, what feature in secondary school, how to incarnate the feature in running secondary school, and the question of running nursing school in Gansu Health School including changing teacher's nursing education view, lesson setting and nursing position demand, the teaching content can't incarnate the development of nursing industry, teaching method and teaching instrument are very worn, single valuing teaching, and lack of professional teaching material and nursing teacher. Aiming at those questions, the author proposes the upswing advice and strategy: 1. to reinforce study and drumbeating, and intensify teacher's nursing idea; 2. lesson setting will meet the demand of the nursing post; 3. the select of teaching content should adapt the development of nursing industry.;4. to improve teaching method and instrument to keep the balance with the post; 5. to perfect teaching valuing system; 6. to reinforce teaching book construct; 7. to collocate teachers frame in reason.Health school, the position of training nursing talent for medical treatment, whether extrudes nursing, and incarnates its feature or not when training nursing talent, if the trained talent meets the demand of nursing development. Running a feature school is the life of a school.
