Objective: To understand the relativity of allergic rhinitis arising with air pollution, to promulgate the rule of the development of allergic rhinitis, to disscuss the relation between air pollution and allergic rhinitis and find out the related rule between them and provide suggestions for the prevention of the allergic rhinitis in the special environment. Methods: With the adoption of retrospective study combined with the inspection of E.N.T department and the form of evaluating symptoms, the situation suffered from allergic rhinitis will be held in four different pollution degrees areas being Urumqi, Bagang, Toutun River and Kashi. Results: The prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis is 33.10% upon investigating 3,786 persons. The prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis continues to show an upward tendency year by year in Urumqi compared with that over the years.
