Objective: To understand the relativity of allergic rhinitis arising with air pollution, to promulgate the rule of the development of allergic rhinitis, to disscuss the relation between air pollution and allergic rhinitis and find out the related rule between them and provide suggestions for the prevention of the allergic rhinitis in the special environment. Methods: With the adoption of retrospective study combined with the inspection of E.N.T department and the form of evaluating symptoms, the situation suffered from allergic rhinitis will be held in four different pollution degrees areas being Urumqi, Bagang, Toutun River and Kashi. Results: The prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis is 33.10% upon investigating 3,786 persons. The prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis continues to show an upward tendency year by year in Urumqi compared with that over the years. The prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis, the serious degree and the persistence time do not have the statistical significance compared on the vary sex groups (P>0.05), but on the vary nations, furthermore, the prevalence rate of Hanzu are higher than that of Uighur. The prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis has the statistical significance compared on the vary age groups, moreover, the result shows that the prevalence rate of teenagers group is lower than middle-aged group and old age group obviously, the prevalence rate of old age group researcher 33.10% and which suggests the prevalence rate suffered from allergic rhinitis has an upward tendency with the growth of the age. Logistic regression shows that the primary factors result in suffered from allergic rhinitis are age, occupation and PM10, in a way, mostly contributing to PM10.
