Research On Rural Health Care System In China

As a subsystem of medical care system, rural health care system is considered an important component of the whole social security system. Perfection of rural health care system has vital significance on maintaining rural residents in good health, developing the enterprise of medical treatment and sanitation and promoting stability as well as harmony between economy and society.This article altogether divides into five chapters:The first chapter, mainly elaborates background of the selected topic, present situation of existed research, goal, meaning and basic method of research, and innovation and deficiency of this article as well.The second chapter mainly elaborates the institutional vicissitude theory and utilizes it to analyze the reasons and characteristics of vicissitude of rural health care system. The institutional vicissitude theory includes institutional equilibrium and disequilibrium, and the latter leads to institutional vicissitude. historical vicissitude of rural health care system can be considered as institutional vicissitude from equilibrium to disequilibrium.The third chapter mainly elaborates the respective characteristics of three bodies, namely rural residents, medical establishment and government. This chapter divides the demand of rural residents for rural health care system into two parts: the demand for medical service and for medical insurance, both of which are insufficient; Monopolization of medical establishment in the medical service market leads to its behavior of inductive demand; the absence of Government's function has restricted the development of rural health care system.The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the classification and choice of the pattern of rural health care system. This chapter divides rural health care system into five patterns: namely cooperative health care pattern, new cooperative health care pattern, the commercial health care pattern, the medical assistance pattern and the social health care pattern; and brings forward the realistic choice of its pattern which means eastern area, middle area and western area of China with different economic level should choose different combination of patterns.The fifth chapter mainly puts forward policies and proposals for different bodies. Firstly, enhance the demand ability of consumers through improving the new cooperative health care system; secondly, strengthen the supply ability of suppliers through improving the medical system; finally, secure medical and hygiene demand of rural residents through the macroeconomic control of government.
