Mobile telecommunications has notably expanded recently, and results in increasing concerns for possible adverse effects induced by radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF EMF) emitted from mobile phones (MPs) on public health. ICNIRP set up the RF exposure safety limits for whole body on the basis of the SAR threshold of 4.0 W/kg in which adverse heating effects may occur. However, the rational exposure standards should be established since some reports showing that low intensity electromagnetic waves also have adverse effects.Researches on mechanisms of RF EMF become essential under the condition that no definite conclusion has been drawn on RF-induced biological effects and health influence. Reports suggested that cell signal transduction pathways could participate in biological effects of EMF, but it is not clear how EMF activates those pathways. It is possible that they may modify the existing signal transduction procession in cell membrane, thus producing both transduction and biochemical amplification of the effects of the field itself. Previous results showed that 50 Hz magnetic fields could induce the clustering of membrane EGFR, which indicated...
